That's why you should just pull the #11 fuse under the hood....If you are wanting the car to "re-learn" the fuel curve etc, then Fuse 11 is the one to pull as it kills power to the PCM. The is no other reason to disconnect the battery unless you want to I guess..but pulling the 11 fuse will do what most folks are looking for. As far sa the "gas pedal reset" that is not a real item either. In a different forum on of the mods bought a StarScan(the cool tool the DC techs at the dealership use) and proved that the gas pedal reset does nothing at all for the PCM. We all just thought it did at one time
