Has anyone had their electronic lock/release on the liftback door fail? My Magnum is only 10 days old and my has already failed. I am taking it to the dealer on Monday 1/16/06. I will keep everyone posted to the extent of the problem after my visit. If anybody else has suffered from this problem, please reply to this post.

 

yes, mine failed also. However, I called for an appt. and had to wait 4 days. I tried it every day with both sets of keys and it would not unlock. The day I had to take it, it worked? Has not happened again. And that was about 3 months ago. I did see on another forum that someone had to have it replaced.

Maybe the connector inside was not completely engaged till it locked. My 2 rear door window switches quit and they were barely connected. Pushed them back in till they clicked and no prob for a year now.
