Default JET module?

Hi all I'm not only new to this forum but also new to owning a Dodge, always been a Chevy man but they aren't making any exciting cars.

Just bought used RT and already had JET module, headers, cats, and coldair intake.

What I'm wondering is does anyone else have the JET module and if so how do they like it? Wondering if it is as helpful as superchips programer or other computer mods?

Thanks

By the way I love the RT, with the above alterations I get 24-25 on highway going 80 mph and 17-19 around town with the occassional blast at WOT. Main concern is slushy trans shifting.

Good questions! I have the Stage II chip, CAI and free flowing exhaust.... LOVE the chip, makes the car act like it should. But you gotta run 91+ octane otherwise the car is "normal". Now i HOPE to have my SC tuner in hand this week, chip has to come out to use the tuner, but the turner allows for alot more then the chip does. Things like the ability to control shift points, change the rev liniter, change the top speed and the list goes on. i will know mor once the tuner finally arrives.

Update:

I took off JET for dealer service and left it off for two days. Ave. mpg dropped about 2 mpg to just 16. I didn't feel any performance difference but mpg do increase.

Sort of off topic of this post, but your MPG got me wondering... You said you get 25ish on the highway. I get around 20, MAYBE 22. That's if I set the cruise @ 70 and don't touch it. Any way to figure out why my MPG is so much worse? If the computer has adjusted itself to my driving (was plenty more WOT when it was first mine!), can I reset it to have it re-learn for better MPG?

Thanks. Glad to see so many smart people in one place!

The Jet Chip is the most popular we sell. I haven't heard one bad thing about them on the Hemi's.

My 05 RT gets about 28-30 on the highway with the cruise set on 60, about 27 at 65 and 25-26 at 70. I have a k&n intake and the suitcase mufler replaced by straight through mufflers with the resonators left in place. Those mods were good for about 2 mpg and noticable increase in power especially above 3k rpm. No objectional noise to me! Now if I can get the tranny to shift better I will be extremely happy. this really is a great car!!!

i have the jet 2 also and found it to give about 1 mpg better and about .1 sec quicker to 60 mph (G tech). although i have a 190deg therm, in the summer i cant keep it there. Then, with the jet 2 it smells rich under full throttle
