Can any type of Coolant/Antifreeze be used in the RT

I need to add some and did not want to put some of the Prestone (green) I have in the garage,
I would hate to go buy more, but if needed.....
I live in South Florida, so antifreezing properties are almost if not at all useless, yet the coolant properties of the fluid are of great importance

What year is it? Pop off the actual radiator cap and see what fluid it is. Most likely it's a yellow color, so go out and buy the prestone ANY MAKE ANY MODEL fluid. They're all starting to convert to that standard anti-freeze. Yes you are right anti-freeze raises the boiling temp of the fluid in the radiator. It also contains anti rust inhibitors, lubrication for the water pump and it will protect you in some freak of nature incident when florida does go below freezing.

don't mix different types. you'll end up with a brown paste in your radiator. go to the dealer and get a gallon of the Mopar antifreeze. cost about $12 but is the correct stuff and you won't have to worry.
