I am considering buying a 2005 magnum rt with 17000 miles on it, but is wrecked in the front. It looks like it got the front core support, radiator, and ac condinser not to mension the hood both headlights both fenders and the front nose. Do you all think it is worth 11000 the way it sets? where would be a good place to get replacement part prices and options like aftermarket hood, nose ect?Can you even buy the radiatod support aftermarket or would it have to be salvage?

 

I am assuming it took out the airbags as well... 11k sounds a little steep for a car that has had the front basically taken out. These cars are very sensitive with the electronics etc. I would check with Dodge to see if the car will still be covered under it's warranty. Was it totaled by Insurance...if so you will probably have issues with warranty. Also you must check if the Frame rails in front were damaged at all...usually in an accident like that they are tweaked a bit. Also these cars have very sensitive steering. I would not deal with it unless you can do all the work yourself and iron out the bugs later....at this point find one for high teens(mileage and $$) from a dealer and stay away from one that's wrecked...my 2 cents.

 

It took out the airbags. It looks like it rearended a truck, impact at center of headlights. It was totaled by insurance so I would say no warranty. would it even be worth fooling with? How much would a magnum that hasn't been wrecked be worth like it?

 

I picked mine up for 22k had 19k on odom... mine was a 32.5k sticker...depends on options I'd say average 21K......stay away from that wrecked car...let it be thrown to the parts bin. go to a dealer...they should be straight with you and they do extend the warranty....also 05s have 7/70 drivetrain warranty....06 have 3/36.
