Default DIY Grille Painting Project

Well I had some down time today and tried my hand at a little painting. Wasn't sure If I wanted black so tried it on the stock one first. Maybe get a powder coated mesh unit sometime soon.

I like that. More moddin' on a budget. What prep did you do before painting?

I just used some fine steel wool to scuff the surface then black primer and finally three light coats of Dupli-Color.
I was very careful with the prep, as they say that will make or brake your paint job.

Debating the license plate holder and fog light bezels. (Red or Black), Black I can do, color coded, I will leave that to the professionals..
