Default I need help, advice, and opinions.

Just bought a 2005 Magnum SE a couple weeks ago and I have some ideas for mods, but I need a lil advice and opinions. First I need to change the front end. I would like to add the mesh in front. So should I buy the inserts or new front end? I've looked around a few places for the mesh, but I haven't found anything I really like that could compare to the DUB Edition Magnum.

Next I wanna switch my headlights with the SRT lights. I want the silver inlet instead of black. Anyone know where I can find em? Also, has anyone seen a pic with any of the LED Altezza taillights on a Magnum? Some of em look pretty sweet, but I have to see it on the car first.

Is it at all possible to swith the gauges with the gauges from an SRT? I love the silver around the gauges there.

Lastly, lowering the car. What's my best option for being able to fit 22's later on?

Oops, one more. AUDIO! What the hell is in the doors on this thing!? They pound! (For stock) Couldn't find the damn audio specs anywhere. Looked on Crutchfield for what would fit and it told me 6 1/2's, 6X9's, and 5 1/4's will fit. I replaced the 6X9's with my Infiniti Reference, but I have 5 1/4 Infiniti Kappa's I would love to put in the Magnum. Up on the dash it looks like there are speaker grills in the corners, but no speaker in them. Is this true? Where else would they fit? More importantly what is in the doors? One of em is blown and sounds like crap and I would like to get a better sounding speaker anyways.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

The doors on my R/T have 6X9's in it. I'm sure yours is the same.

What kinda 6X9's do they stick in the doors that knock that hard? My Infiniti's don't even hit that low.

AH, new blood, I was there myself once. Let's take it one at a time that I can help with:

1: Grille, keep looking there are a number of companies out there, check out other forums as well there are a lot of pictures of grilles posted. No need to replace front end.

2: Headlights. I am sure you can find a willing RT owner to switch headlights with you. The black setup is a favorite for a number of RT owners. Again check other forums you will find one quick..ME..., PM me to discuss.

3: Lowering and wheels. You can drop the car 1 - 1.5' without issue other than tire width. Make sure you get wheel/tire package that is as close as possible to the stock demensions in order to not throw off the odometor/speedo too much. Check this site to see if your selection is within a range you can live with. Tire Calculator. It is very easy to use.
For good measure here is my modest machine. Others have gone way farther than I have, but it is still early in my tenure.

Oh NO..you don't need to upgrade your braking system to mount 22". Just remember to get the 22" combination in as close as possible to the original tire/wheel combination.

Go back to my previous post and use the Tire Calculator to get the numbers.

Very doubtful that they will fit, however, you can could rig up a mount that would let you install it using the previous 6x9 brackets. To be honest with you, I'd use 6x9's over 5 1/4 anyday.
