Help please. i just bought an 06 magnum and the tranny is acting funny. it slips going into 2nd and there is a abrupt thud from the rear when i hit od? any thoughts?

 

Some of the Magnums have had a problem with water from the AC unit dripping down the transmission tube. Some of the transmission tubes have had bad O-rings, allowing water to get into the transmission. I had mine checked at 3,000 and 6,000 miles. I have not heard anyone with an 06 complain of water in their tannys. Most of the water problems have been on 05's. It still is worth having it looked into. Dodge is aware of the problem.
