Default vegas trip 340 miles

well ill be going on a vegas trip in a couple of weeks and its about a 340 mile trip. i did the math, but not sure. the question is can i make it ther on one gas tank? i live in tulare ca. between bakersfield and fresno if that helps. the manual says 25mi hwy to the gallon. but between running the ac and the small hills on the way there it might be less. what hwy milage do you guys get on a full tank, or actually how many miles can you go on a full tank (hwy). with these gas prices my magnum hasnt had a full tank in about 8 months and that might be the most expensive part of the trip! sorry this post is pretty long but any info would help. (MOST IMPORTON THING I HAVE AN R/T)

Default RE: vegas trip 340 miles

I have had my computer say 0 miles left on tank with 320 miles on the tank and the tank took 71.4 liters in a 72 liter tank. But that is not all highway, it is my commute where I get 17-18 MPG. So I would guess that if you are crusin' on the freeway, 340 would be doable. If you get 20 MPG and the tank holds 19, that would take you 380 miles.

Just thought of something, you are going to Vegas and worried about gas? I'd be more worried about losing my a.... gambling..hahahaha!!!

Check out the post of my trip from SoCal to WA state. Might give you an idea of the mileage.

NH and back on a tank with lots of stuff loaded in the car. 168 miles one way. Lock in cruise at 68-70, with some hills. Can't really get more than that.
