That line will be gone when i get this alltogether. I cant see doing the lines on the scoop. Plus to do that i would have to start from scratch .I will noe start on the cowl section of this scoop and finish off the pointy front parts and do some welding this weekend and put it back on the hood and take some more pics before i paint it.

 

Silver Bullit did you get my pictures? I went to the Hot Rod tour in Gainesville last weekend and got a few shots of some hood scoops.
I agree with Magmania. your hood would look more like a factory installed hood if you had the same double lines as on the nose of the car.

Heminuts, I really do like each and every pic you showed but those are really old school hood and i love them but i am trying to do a little of both in having an aggressive look and realy no function at all. I have a Valent intake so i dont need to cut into the hood for air. I just want to add the scoop to have a mean look. The double line up top is very hard to do at this time so wish me luck.

 

Post some pictures when you get it done. I would like to see the finished product.
