Default how to bypass seat/airbag sensor

I was wondering if anyone knew how to or of a part I can plug in and fool the passenger side airbag into thinking someone is in the seat. I have aftermarket seats and was wondering how to get around this problem. It seems no one has put aftermarket seats in, only reskinned them etc. I guess others are running into this and are avoiding this problem alltogether by keeping the stock seats. There are not even any seat brackets yet even in CA

all you have to do is strip the two wires going to the seatbelt and connect them. thats it . strip the two wires and then twist them together.

i own a magnum sxt and i barely wear my seat belt and the anoying beeping was going to stop,. so i tested the wires and saw all the seatbelt does is provide a ground from one wire to another so i then found it was safe to connect the wires. so i did a long time ago and all has been good.

that is not going to work for the airbag sensor.
The sensor on the seat is a weight sensor.
You may have to track the cables for the sensor and slplit and join those, but not the ones on the seatbelt assembly

To turn off the 'chime' for the seatbelt..>READ THE MANUAL. It tells you have to turn it off.

that airbag light will be a tough one to figure out. i had a hard enough time getting the ocm sensor recalibrated after i had Katzkins seats installed. i don't know what you would do with the ocm module eliminated.

maybe the dealer can disable the OCS (occupant classification system) with a starscan.

Hello,
I am from germany and I have also aproblem with OCS.
I have a 2005 dodge Magnum and i had 300c SRT seats installed.

Do you have installed the seats by do it your self, ore had the dealer (Car repair shop) installed the seats.

How strong you can plate the seat on the sensor rail without the sensors damaged?

Sorry for my bad englisch.

Best Regards
Michael

if you installed srt seats in your magnum. reuse the original OCM module from your magnum passenger front seat and install it under the new srt seat. the dealer will then need to recalibrate the sensor. this isn't something you can do yourself.

OK, I will install it under the new srt seat.
What do I need to know about the connection between the OCM Modul and Passangerseat.

Can it happen that the Sensor damaged if I screw the bolt too much (to strong).

there's only two small screws that hold the module to the seat. just hand tighten it with a phillips screwdriver, and plug in the electrical connectors.
