Default Plastic

I just got back from looking at the new Magnum. Very nice looking car the only thing I didn't like was the amount of plastic in the car, not much the plastic but the plastic looked cheap. Now I don't know if it was the color and lighting or what but the plastic didn't appeal to me all that much. The color was Blue outside with a light 2 tone inside, I think if the plastic was a darker color it might have looked beeter.

This was the V6 model, does the RT look the same on the inside?

Whats the going markup on these cars? The dealer down the street wanted 14K over MSRP for the v6, that's BS. Will never pay over MSRP for a car. I have heard of other dealers with only 3k markup on the RT.

I got the STX one week ago, and my dealer Bentenhausen in Tinley Park Il., is a no haggle dealer they are selling all including the R/T below invoice! The six is still pretty peppy, not as good as the Hemi. The insides are the same for the most part. But I have to say this car creates quit a stir when you drive it. No joke, I have people hanging out the window blowing their horn giving me a thumbs up it is pretty funny! I am going to enjoy this until a million of them hit the streets!

Never pay over MSRP... there is no need to. They aren't in THAT high of demand.

About the plastic, never saw a V6, but yes the plastic isn't the greatest thing in the RT. But for a 340HP 390ft/lb engine, I'm coping. You can't have it all for only $30k + options. That's really a bargain considering you're getting a stomp *** engine and a good 5 speed auto. Not to mention the mere size is nice too. Something has to give, and personally I don't mind the panels being a little cheap in order to keep the prices down... beats the hell out of paying $40k for the same thing.
