I have an 06 Magnum R/T, I have installed a K&N CAI and have noticed a sound that I cannot get an explanation for. It sounds like a something is flapping within the CAI tube but that is impossible. It only happens during moderate acceleration. Anyone else have this annoyance?

 

I would say its just the sound of the intake sucking in air.

mine makes a noise, took it to the mechanic, we looked at it together, and if you stand over the intake when you give it gas you can hear its the intake sucking in air, it makes a whoosing flapping type sound when your inside the car and sounds 100% diffrent when your standing over the intake...

just my 2 cents.

 

Thanks, It makes since. These motors are so noisey anyway I am always listening and waiting for something wrong.
