RT LOWERING SPRINGS ?
has anyone put in lowering springs in them selfs? is it difficult? can it be done with tools i probobly have in my basic tool box. the reson i ask is becouse my local tire shop charges 300 plus alighnment. i think thats pretty steap. thanx
i did mine myself.
the back is real easy. unbolt the lower shock and then place a floor jack under the lower control arm. next remove the inner control arm bolt. lower the jack and let the control arm come down. pull out the spring and replace with the new one.
the front is a little more involved, but very do-able yourself.

thanx one more question im an ebay shopper and found diffrent brands of lowering springs , i found eiboch and spring tech brands i know the eiboch is a more popular brand, but is that what im paying for, or is the quality alot better becouse the price diffrence is about 80$ and if anyone ells has any more info on lowering the magnum please let me know. also 65standard how long did it take to do the job? thanx
it took me about three hours to change the springs. i am using eibach sportlines. they are powdercoated and that maybe the reason they cost more than other brands. i am sure the other brands line sprint, goldline, and springtech are all just as good.
