Default RE: Exhaust Question

I have the Borla #140112 on my AWD R/T. It has a nice, but quiet tone and doesn't resonate.

I was wondering the same thing . I was also considering just cutting off the resonators and run straight pipes.

in my limited experience with that, it ends up too loud, and resonates very badly

Not on mine...bu a full cat back is for sure better, it is designed just for the Magnum.

Default RE: Exhaust Question

Try to eliminate the Suitcase muffler near the gas tank... This provides for a true Dual Exhaust and keeps the resonators there to keep down the deep growl of the Hemi... Plus this is the cheapest Exhaust Mod I have run across. $75 Total... If you want a bit more tone, try losing the Suitcase Muffler. If the SRT-8 is too loud for you, leave it alone! The SRT-8 Magnum has the Borla System installed stock. Check the noise level out on that first, then decide. I actually liked the quiet "Sleeper" effect with my stock RT. Plus, I doubt you will see any performance differnce... Most people post gas milage as the only performace boost.

Let us know what you end up doing!!!!
