i was wonder if this is true or not i hope it isnt
i heard a couple rumors that dodge is going to stop prodution of the magnum becuase they havent been selling like they hoped for...for the same amount of magnuma sold in a year it only took the charger 6 months to blow buy it in sales..i hope they dont stop it ive always liked them since they came out...and i want to get a new not beat up one in a couple months ...
I don't know if that is true or not either but I'm not big on the idea of there being a million magnums on the road in every direction that I look in.
If everyone had one it would take away some of the "oohs and awes" in having a somewhat unique and special vehicle.

Dodge could make a million more of these and this car would still be unigue in its present form. The more the better. When yourride is 10years old and you need parts you hope they are around like the Impalass and the Caprice.
I read on the web some where a while back that a simple study was done and SUV's were gradually getting lower and wider and people were actually liking them that way, it wasn't just a roll over thing. I would bet the Magnum's days are limited, soon to be replaced by lower SUV styled vehicles. Many parts cross over to so I wouldn't worry about finding that odd part in 15 years. There are many crossover parts between its sister model Dodge/Chrylser vehicles and the Mercedes Benz E-Class chassis as well.
IMO those rumors don't add up. The Charger and the Magnum are the same car just as the 300 is the same car. It costs DCX very very little to run a chassis down the line and turn it into a Magnum vs a 300, the only difference is the hatch vs a rear window and trunk lid, so if they sell ANY why stop production. It doesn't make sense.
