I did the samething. I needed room for the newest kid and planing kid #3 for next year. Vette was definately a better car but 2 seaters dont work and I cant afford 3 car payments.

Hard to get used to running quarter miles in in the low 14's upper 13's when I used to go mid 11's on motor only, ahh well in a few years wifes tahoe is paid off then its time for another vette as my 3rd car!!!

Only problem I ever had (other than breaking stuff racing) was seaping diff seals and a plugged drain for the AC condensation tank resevoir, 47k miles when I sold it and the seats and interior looked brand new.

My beast was a 2000 Fixed roof coupe, 415rwhp and 400rwtq car weighed 3425lbs with my 230lb **** in the drivers seat and 3/4 tank of gas.
