Default How wide

Was wondering on how wide we can go with the tires. I loved my 255"s on my '95 impala and would love to go that wide. I might have a shot here to try different set ups any one that has tried let us know.

I am sure you could go a bit wider but I am not sure how much or with what tire. I was recently lamenting about the apparent lack of availability of a high (or ultra high) performance all-season in OEM size to replace the Continentals. Let me know if you find a combination that works.

I think I will wait for something to become available in OEM size. While it may be of intertest to some, I have no intention of "pimping my ride" and going to bigger wheels. That having been said, if those factory 20's from the SRT-8 ever made production, I would consider them...

Thanks for the link.

I know what you mean. I found a couple 18's that i like I'm more interested in going wide than higher. I'm playing with photoshop to see how they look.

I don't consider this "pimped out" but I found these 20" Metal Ice, all steel wheels, looked great on the car. Handling is unbelievable with the 20" wheels and Toyo rubber.
