Which Magnum model did you wind up purchasing?

 

Looks like only the people who bought Hemi's are voting! Did anyone buy an SE? I have yet to even see one. Just lots of SXT's and a few Hemi's on the road.

 

doesn't seem like many SE's were made at all, when I was looking for my RT I only saw 1 dealer in all of MA and NH that had an SE, they all had mostly SXT's with a few RT's, don't blame them for not ordering SE's either really, that 2.7 just doesn't have enough power for a car that big imo, a more reasonable engine lineup probably would have been the 3.5 on the SE, 4.7 on the SXT and the 5.7 on the RT.

actualy an even better engine lineup would be 4.7 on the SE, 5.7 on the SXT, and 8.3 on the RT

 

I have not seen an SE. Talked with a guy at Enterprise rental and they said that they were getting two SE's. That might be where the majority of them might be going.

 

I knew the 300/Magnum with the lame 2.7L would become Rent-A-Car specials. It's big and if it's horribly slow, who cares, it's a rental.

The 3.5L I think would be okay, but until an aftermarket comes out so you can get closer to 300 crank HP, I don't think you'll see too many of them.

 

Now where I read this I dont know, but I think the SE is on hold due to the 2.7L. I wish I could find it but it said something about production of the motor etc. etc. To me its oh wait we cant make the cheap one right now so buy the R/T!

 

Oh also, I actually was looking for an SE due to money constraints but the 10 dealers in the Cincinnati area said they are on order but dont say when they will be delivered. I havet heard from anyone that has seen one either.
