Yes, have had an Airraid brand TB spacer for like 2 years now. Makes a whistling noise, but it kinda sounds cool. I am sure it helps with air delivery just by design alone. Its a good theory.

 

I have a valent cold air intake and how would this help me get a little more. Always looking for more power .

 

First of all is the Magnum TBI or MPI? Because I always thought that TB Spacers worked better on TBI vehicles like my Shadow and BurningRom's V10. I heard that they do nothing to help power on MPI Vehicles.

 

Thats a good question i have not looked into that. I saw a program the other night My classic car or one of the shows and they did the spacer thing and headers along with exhaust and i had to leave when that show came on. I did not get to see any of the dyno work or numbers. But they did use a spacer.

 

personally, i don't think they do anything on a direct port system. i could be wrong because i never tried it. on the speed channel, two guys garage put on a hamburger throttle body spacer (no whistle) and short headman headers on a 2006 charger and gained 23 Hp.

23 horses is a good deal these days. i wonder how much with just the spacer and headers coming later in the year. It cant hurt could it.
