Default TRANS LEAK

Well, I noticed yesterday that my trans is leaking. It left a nice size spot on my driveway overnight. I plan on putting it up on the hoist here at work during lunch. Anyone else have a leaky trans? My last dealer experience was a nightmare (they wound up damaging my roof and having to repaint it) and am hoping it is something I can fix (loose pan or dipstick tube o-ring). So, anyone else experience this? Thanks!

I had the same problem; I left the car parked for a week and came home to find a puddle on the garage floor. It's still under warranty, so off to the dealer. Turns out that the valve body was leaking.

I put mine up on the hoist here at work and found it leaking around the 13pin connector at the front right hand side of the trans. After looking in the service manual, it appeared that to fix it, you just had to give the connector a half turn, pull it out and replace the o-rings on the connector. The dealer called me up after the end of the day and said that they had to keep the car longer because they had to drop the pan and valve body to fix it and flush the trans. That's all BS. I think they just didn't get to the car in time to get it back to me that day, even though they promised it back to me in one day. I got it back around lunch the next day and after looking at the invoice, all they did was replace two o-rings (just like I told them to do) and 2qts of fluid. Now, if they dropped the pan like they told me and flushed the trans, it would have taken a lot more than 2qts. I hate effin' dealers. Bunch of frikkin' liars. So far, no leak. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
