Exhaust vs. low-end
I recently replaced the factory muffler with 40 series flowmasters and removed the resonators on my magnum r/t. Absolutlely love the sound; although it seems as though I've lost a little on the low-end. The top-end is strong, but sitting a red light and a mustang pulls up, I want to be able to smoke it. I've added the K&N CAI and exhaust, but haven't saved up enough blow money for a performance chip or programer. Before I add the programer, I want to bring back my low-end. Any suggestions??? Thanks
try this:
Pull fuses # 11-14 &16
Get in car turn to "on"
then turn to "start" (it won't)
Hold for 5-10 seconds until you hear a chime.
Hold for another 5-10 seconds until you hear a second chime.
Replace fuses
Your done
Also some people say you can simply reset by pulling fuse 11 for atleast 30 min. That may or may not work.
This did!

65standard, I saw Strykker posting up over in the Charger section and I just poped in to see what's happening here.
I'll vist over here more often to learn and hopefully share w/you'all.

I lost low-end torque when I cut out my x pipe & suitecase and replaced w/a DynoMax Ultra Flow X muffler (single muffler w/3" internal pipe and X over). A while later I installed Corsa CATBack and regained what was lost.
I think there may have been too much flow through with that exhaust setup.
