I have not driven in snow yet, so cant say for certain, but I thought it this way, I want new rims goin with 22s, will keep stock rims and put winter tires on them, it should run like a dream. I have driven many rear wheel drive vehicles in winter most with high hp, and with a good set of tires it is just fine.

I live in MN and had my RT RWD last year in the snow. It actually was the best car I've ever owned (My old Aurora FWD was a disaster in the snow).

We had our first main snow in November (about 5 inches) and I took it to a mall lot and gave her he||, with the Trac control, I couldn't get it to slide more than a foot.

I've driven it in 10" of snow, and getting her moving can be slow, but she'll get going, and if all else fails, turn off the Trac and melt your way back down to the blacktop!

Cheers.

I love the AWD . Last winter i had no issues with getting out and about or in rain the car handled great. The only thing is the after market has not been kind to that Model yet. You will also burn a little more fuel. Other then that the AWD is cool if your have to be out in the snow or rain a lot like me its the way to go. If not stay with just the RWD its can handle the bad weather but not as good . But thats just my thoughts on this subject.
