Hey all,

I don't own a Magnum yet, but I'm looking to buy in the next 1-2 years, and I am planning out what mods I want.

So in my research thus far, I'm surprised that I haven't seen any internal engine modifications available. No rockers, valves, valve springs, pistons, camshafts, etc....
Is this true, if not please point me in the right direction.

The only mods I've seen so far are intake, exhaust (headers & cat-back), superchips, and the supercharger kit.

Also I'd be looking at some weight loss modifications, are there any?

Mods are available and those that aren’t are in the works, there's enough LX 5.7 & 6.1's on the road that manufactures are enticed to produce parts for them.

Currently you can get a cam, valve springs & retainers, push rods and heads.

One outfit is stroking a 6.1 so that is all the internals. Their going to get to work on the 5.7 after they have finished the 6.1.

<edit> Putting you LX on and diet, don't have any nifty tricks or suggestions yet, but always open to suggestions.

 

find a wrecked E500 and swap out the chassis. it is all aluminum. the dodge version is all steel. that should save some weight.
