[&:]We also went the SXT as this is the work car and is replacing our 2000 durango. No need for speed, have a couple other cars for that. Need the comfort and capacity.

I bought mine on tuesday with 11 miles on it. Today I have 143. I have the mineral grey and love the looks I get when driving. Did notice one problem in the paint on the rocker panel. The dealer will be fixing it on the 16th. Oh yeah great site glade I found you guys.

Here are a couple of other great Magnum forums...unfortunately, there is no "one stop" Magnum forum yet so I checks all of these every day.

We picked up our Magnesium SXT with a sunroof on 8/2 with 10 miles on it: we now have about 1200 miles, and my only complaint was overinflated tires. The fit and finish on our car is quite good: a couple of hand-washings will tell you a lot about how a car is built. We are averaging about 20 MPG so far, on regular fuel, and I am no balloon-foot, believe me. I have he six-disc CD changer with cassette, but have the stock, non-Boston Acoustics sound system. I am pleased with the control unit, and appreciate the RDS on the radio, but the speakers are clearly not up to the task. I am going to try a Rockford-Fosgate component speaker solution for the front speakers, and a pair of 6X9 triaxials in the rear, and see what that does: next step would to try an amplifier. I am not a hard rocker, being almost 50 years old, but the stock system can't handle bass or treble sounds without petering out. After I readjusted the tire pressures, I noticed a slight pull to the right, but the dealer quickly aligned the front-end, and the problem seems to have gone now: As for interior room, well, I'm 6'5" tall, and the wife is 5'10" and the kids finally have enough legroom in the back seat to keep from squawking. We traded a trouble-prone Volkswagen Passat wagon, and this car has a much roomier passenger area than the Passat had, and what seems to be comparable cargo area. All-in-all, a very good showing for a first-year car1

I went with the SXT for now. I have been doing some tweaking and some planning. A few guys are giving me crap about tweaking out my SXT, but it doesn't bother me. I know there will be a better RT in a few years and I will be buying a new RT once performance parts become more available. For now it replaces my 2002 silverado extended cab. I can haul the same amount of stuff (truck had a bed cover) and i get at least 10+ MPG more. Anyways, you can see pictures of my car HERE!. It's black, dark gray leather interior, has RT wheels, soon to have an incredible Audio/Video system. Even though itt's not the RT...It still turns heads everywhere I go!

Brian, it's not giving you crap, it's just a few people have pointed out it seems your full of crap! I think you wanted an RT but couldn't afford it, so you got an SXT put RT rims on it and are telling everyone you know it's the RT. With all the money your putting into it with the plans you have, you could have got a RT. I'm surprised no RT owners have said something to you about all the problems you say the RT has. Your basically saying the RT is ****, so your waiting a few years for a better one. The RT and SXT share the same problems it seems, so your stroy about all the RT bugs as your reason for not buying one is B.S.

[8D]Have had ours for a week, now has 400 miles on it. Just took trip to summer home up in the mountains, no problem with hills. got 23 on first tank, RT wheels/tires make the speedo read 2 mph less than actual. No big deal will get computer recalabrated someday.

No problems with car. Had to us clay bar on the hood as there was some kind of black stuff on it. problem diesel exhaust from the train. [&:]
