My 05 R/T hiccuped twice today...
Driving a local highway today and gave it a little gas and the car stuttered and slowed down real quick (engine braking). got off the gas and then back on it and it was ok..
Little while later i step (3/4 throttle) on it and the tach goes up but the car does not take off (or sound like taking off). tried it again and same thing, then about 5 minutes later and its back to normal (fire breathing dragon HEMI)..
Anyone else experience anything like this? car has 7000 miles (05 leftover). RWD
Stopped by the dealer wher I get service and they asked if the check engine light came on, I said no and they said they could look at it tomorrrow or keep driving until it gets worse of light comes on...whcih is waht i expected them to say..
Hope to hear soem pearls of wisdom from you folks,
Thanks,
Mike

Magnum Force,
I had an Issue with my Magnum with about 1,000 miles on it. It ended up being the Cable from the Transmission Computer to the Main Computer under the Dash... Similar symptoms, but not exactly. When it first happened it did feel sluggish, but then it would just stay in First Gear and not upshift or go over 30 MPH. They diagnosed a Throttle Body, Transmission Computer and then the Cable between the two.
Bottom line, take it in, have them figure out what is wrong. You'll get a Rental in the mean time...
Good Luck!
