dying, and engine light
My parents were driving, I wasnt in the car. This is what they said happen.
They were filling up the Magnum, and started it up, it died, engine light came on, so they tighted it(fuel ****), and drove alittle, coughed alittle then died, and then they started it back up, and it drove fine for the rest of the drive, but the engine light is still on..not flashy...just on
its a dodge magnum r/t 06
what do u guys think the problem is?

If you have EVIC check the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
Get in the car and do the following quickly:
Turn key to ON
then back to ACC
then to ON
then back to ACC
then to ON
Any DTCs will display on the odometer one after the other, when reaches the end of the codes it displays -Done-
Look up the DTC here => "Technical Help & Information/General Tech/Service Engine Codes For OBD II Engines" to find out what the code means.
It sound like the gas cap wasn't on properly which would throw a P0440 code - Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction.
