something like that shouldnt hurt the tranny. there not much more weight then the factory wheels. as far as the tire size your best bet is to just go to a tire place that sells rims. they will tell you what you can and cant do and what will fit and not fit. good luck.

you are going to have a time trying to lower on 22's. I have 22's on mine and they are flush with the outside well (wide foot). I am running 265/35/22 Dunlops and it is tight. I would go with 20's if I had to do it again.

NO, not if you use the round ones!! LOL!

Seriously, your 2.7 will never know the difference. Actually 265/35R22s will roll easier than the undersize OEM tires. At cruise I get about one more mpg since installing the 22s on my RT!

Forget that lowering nonsense! With the 22" wheelsbeing so much larger, it won't have that roller skate look any more. With the 22s being so firm you'll want the OEM suspension to get good ride and handling. The soft OEM suspension and overloaded OEM tires produce a too soft ride and sloppy handling. With the hard 22s and soft OEM suspension the ride and handling are 'just right'!!
