Hello To All,
First thing first , I am new to the site and don't have a Magnum, yet!
(Thinking about trading my 2002 Silverado and going Dodge for the first time.)
My question is I was at a local dealer and notice that one of the Magnums
that I saw had a vinyl decal of "RT" lettering on the back door. I saw another Magnum
and notice that it had chrome metal "RT" lettering on the back door.
I think the vinyl decal looks great my question:
Is the vinyl decal "RT" an option?

 

Welcome to the forum. I hope you will find it both interesting and helpful. I have yet to see anything like the decals you described but I would assume that they are a dealer installed item (think pinstriping) made to dress the car up a bit. I'd love to see a photo if you could post one.

I am pretty sure it was not dealer installed.
The lettering was almost the same color of the Magnum, Mineral Gray and
they were bigger in size I have not see another one like it.
I did go back and it was sold, but I didn't talk to a saleperson, I am still
in the thinking about mode, don't want a saleperson bugging in yet.

 

I doubt that a dealer would go through the trouble of taking off the chrome letters to put on vinyl letters.

Are you sure car was a RT?

Sounds more like wishful thinking on somebody's part.
