Well, justice was served. The auction cloesd without getting one bid. Gotta be a dealer. Reminds me of when the T-Bird came back out a few years ago. A few of the Ford dealers in the Dallas area wanted to pool their alotments together and put them up for bid to drive the price higher. The obvious result would be a higher sticker price the following year. Don't think it ever came to pass since demand for the T-Bird has yet to meet expectations. Some people just don't learn, however.

You can't blame him for being enterprising. You laugh, but the market for these goes beyond the U.S. I can see some high-up executive in Japan or Europe or even Africa buying that thing regardless of the cost. But in that case, they are likely to go directly to a dealer and get one that's brand new. Still, the market exists. Of both cars I had listed on eBay recently the most responses came from overseas. The guy who purchased my '02 Isuzu Axiom on Cars.com is from Kazakstan (sp?) and he is shipping it over there. He says the market for lightly used American cars and SUVs is very hot and they will make a lot money off my Isuzu.
