A/C and eurospec radio question
Hi. I live in Denmark where Magnums are extremely rare.I can buy a 2006 3.5V6 cheap, but it doesn't have all I want:
1. Is it possible to upgrade A/C to automatic climate control by switching the panel only, or are the so many sensors etc that it's next to impossible?
2. The radio is US standard, meaning FM band can tune to 103.9 and 104.1. But here in Europe we also use the "even-decimal" frequencies, so there is a station at 104.0 that I can't hear. I earlier had a US spec Clarion in a boat, that could be changed to also tune to Euro frequencies, is that possible, or do I have to find another radio?

you can change the radio to one from a Eurooean built 300c , but it isn't taht easy as the radio hangs onto the CAN bus as well. Regarding the climate control I don't kow but that would be something I'd like to change myself.
Wetried to reflash PCM with Software from the Euro built 2006 model of the 300c touring to get rid of the Fahrenheit temperature display but if you do the ABS controller goes nuts and the error coder "unusual car configuration" comes up. We would have to revert to an Euro PCM as well but the models currently build have already the newer PCM version. My brother works in the electronic Dept. of the European Chrysler plant here in Graz and could help me out a lot. But there are even limits to Chrysler employees.........
