Magnum R/T superchips-programmers
Hello all,
I'm a new member, in S.E. Wisconsin. I have a 05' Magnum R/T, and I signed up for this forum to get some info. I am attempting to get info on programmers, and super chips for my R/T. I have added a cold air intake, headers, and aftermarket exhaust. I notice even less throttle response then when I 1st purchased the car. It seems there is too much air, and the car seems to bog a little at first. I am wanted better off the line acceleration. I'm looking for any info from people who have used differant programmers/chips on their Magnum R/Ts, and if they are happy w/ the results. I'm not sure which one to buy. Thanks all.

I have an 05 with CAI, Borla Cat back and Hypertech tuned..I've had no issues with it although alot of members like Superchips for the Shift option but I was able to raise my top speed and tuned to run Reg.gas although you can tune for 93 and you can alsoraise your rpms up to 500 per shift although I left mine at stock setting. It Runs well and will pay for itself in time on the gas savings and has more Hp and Trq running Reg, than the 89 that was recommended when new.. Which ever you choose you will get more performance...Hypertech tuner was aeasy install and easy to change back and forth..Check out their Website for more info..Good Luck with your R/T.... How many Miles on the R/T?? I have 26000 and recently changed my plugs...Maybe this can smooth things out a bit...
i would start with pulling fuse #11 for 15 seconds and then see how the car responds. if you drive like a granny most of the time, the car responds very slow to down shifts and up shifts. if you are more agressive in your driving style and use auto stick more, she responds they way you want her to.
the cars computer basically adjusts to your driving style. pulling the fuse for a few seconds will clear the adaptives it learned.
