A question of size,

I need to replace the crappy stock Continental tires on my "05 Magnum RT. They made it about 19000 miles but have been sub-par throughout. I have looked at TireRack.com for a while. I am planning on keeping the stock 18" wheels. The stock Continentals are 225's. I want to put on a set of Kumho Ecsta 245/50/18's. Has anyone tried this size with the stock wheels? Does anyone know if that size will or won't fit the stock wheels?

The last set I had were 255/55-18 Had no problems with them at all.

YOU CAN GO TO TIRERACK.COM THEY CAN TELL YOU WHAT WILL FIT ;IM RUNNING GOODYEAR ASSURANCE .THEY BLOW AWAY THOSE CONTINENTALS

 

I got 255/55/18 on mine.i got the goodyear responsive edge with BLOWS away the assurance and the conts.Check out those tire ratings on tirerack
