I have an 05 magnum, bought it off the lot brand new and have had it for a year. I have just over 17000km on the car.I have had no major issues with the car, infact non... BUTI had a problem with the ashtray since day one. I have had it in4 times to the dealer and everytime i leave it stil doesn't work, it opens and never closes! They promise to have it fixed this time, but is there anything i can do, talk to other then the advisor???

The issue is i'm seeing cracks in the leather, cracks in the plastic around the buttons on the stearing wheel, and loose threads on the seam on it aswell. There hasn't been alot of driving on the car, but i don't want to have the same issues getting these things looked at as the ashtray... does that make sense?

 

That makes perfect sense mitsara, there’s nothing more aggravating then a small thing like the ashtray becoming an issue.

Can you find another dealership to go to?

 

I have gone to the dealer i bought it 3 times (including this week coming up) and a seperate dealer same thing... I will see what happens this week at the dealer where i picked the car up.
