Not my car, but here's a pic. There are sidepipes on the car.

I had emailed him when I first got my Magnum. He got them from J C Whitney. Four into one sidepipes. Not connected to the exhaust so he could remove them in winter (if I remember correct).

Yep, thats mine. They do have mufflers and you only need to make an elbow to connect them to original downpipes. Salt around here is murder on them. Other cars ive put them on only lasted 1-2 years before collectors rusted thru. I paid $220 or so for the set. Brackets mount on car and just one T-bolt on each end of each pipe.

I am also interested in sidepipes (Patriot Exhaust products seems to be the source)
Found a couple different models (like yours and also ones with heat shield.

Could you tell me f :

Any clearence issues (is your magnum lowered or stock)

I understand you did not hook them up (just for show) can you tell me what install seems to be like? would they match up with exhaust system behind CATs?

what length did you get?

Thanks, your ride is sweet!

Mine is stock height. I got the thicker ones (3 1/2") and they are the longer ones of the two available (83" I think). I mounted mine so they dont stick out much from the side, but do hang down lower. You could raise them higher, but you will have to put them farther out. Theres also another possibilitywith a little fabrication, you could remove the plastic rocker panels and recess the pipe into that area. If I was going to make them permanent, thats what I was going to do.
Too hook them up all you need is either a cut out, or welded elbow in the header downpipes. I was considering electric cut outs myself. The single header pipe leading into the muffler is I think 2 1/2". They clear the ground by maybe 3", so they do occasionally scrape a little, but its on the bottom. Higher speed bumps are the worst. At least where I have mine, lowering or low profile tires are out of the question.

Thanks, I think the ride is good and the cars not bad either.........[sm=Awwww.gif]
