Engine Light = P0730, Incorrect Gear Ratio
Here's the incident:
1. Was getting onto the highway
2. Stomped on the accelator (because it's the right thing to do in a Magnum)...
3. The car hesitated and then responded with the usual excellentblast off...
And then the check engine light came on and stayed on until I hooked up my "Innova Digital CAN ODB2" code reader. The device will tell you what code the car's computer will spit out for the dealer when they plug in their code reader.
I received the code: "P0730, Incorrect Gear Ratio".
Anyone have any idea what that means?
I'll take it to the dealer if the engine light pops up again but it's no longer glowing, for now.

Sorry Adega, but I didn't get the TSB #. I will take my Magnum in next week to have the leak fixed, hopefully. It is irritating to spend as much as we did, and not have any problems. My '04 Mercury marauder has 28,785 miles on it and has been my daily driver for 32 months, with no leaks. The Mgnum is only 15 months old with less than 7600 miles and was a $1000.00 more costly.
But I still love it, and in fact have been adding mods to the Marauder to bring the HP up to the Magnum's level.
Best,
Walela
