How do I get to my flywheel/torque converter bolts. I have a 318 - A904 in a 1980 CMX Mirada.
It looks like my tranny dustcover goes clear up to where the starter mounts.

It might go up that far. I don't recall,as my mirada left the family some 15 years ago, The one to ask is BadStratRT, he has a mirada and would either know or be able to look at one.

Yes you have to slide the starter out of the shield and then it will pull down .
