Default Points to electronic ignition conversions

I am going to get my father an anniversary present, he has a 64 Dart GT Convertible with a slightly built 318, he likes to drive, not race. He is planning on swapping to factory electronic ignition using parts from a 70's model. If you have tried this you know how much of a PITA it is.

I have been looking at two kits to get him. The Pertronix and Mallory. They are both the drop in type to replace the points and keep the factory look.

I have tried the search to no avail. Does anyone have any experience with these? I plan on going with the Pertronix as I know they work and know people who have them, but if the mallory is better I would go with it. Or if you have a better suggestion....

Any help is appreciated.
