I saw this in a field in Utah on my way to a Mopar show in Colorado. I can see the ad on ebay: 69 Road Runner. Good condition. Minimal rust. Well ventilated while being stored. Minimum bid: $23,000.
I think there ought to be a law that says you get five chances to say, "No, it's not for sell. I'm going to restore it some day." If you haven't done anything by then you have to sell it to the next one that asks. There are a lot of cars that have rotted beyond repair waiting for some schmuck to restore them.

BAck in the early 90's, there was a guy down the street that had a 383 powered challenger sitting in the front yard. It was obvious it had been there for some time and was kept under a tarp. I stopped and talked to the guy about it one day on my way home from school and he said he was going to restore it. Well sure enough, last year he finally had a salvage yard come get it.
What a tool.
What a tool.
on my way to middle school, every day i went past a black 68 charger and a limelight cuda...the cuda dissapeared first, and although lots of people stopped to ask, evidently he was some sort of drug crazed moron....who woudlnt sell...he also has a dodge raider, and a 440 ramcharger...i did notice that about two years ago, one day it was just gone. todd, you might even know where it was..heading into finleyville, sitting on the left, right before finleyville lumber...[:@]
I checked on a '70 Challenger R/T 440 4spd, that was sitting for a few years in the weeds at a drivers ed. school that I passed going to and from my storage place. It was the son of one of the instructors car and it was for sale even though it didn't have a sign on it. I finally contacted him to find out he wanted $6,500 for it. It was in good shape but had been there for some time and the radiator and top part of the motor was missing, it also had a hideous custom interior, but it was still a steal for that price. I would have it now if I could only have gotten a loan for it then, but the banks don't like to give money for old cars like that. Not long after I asked about it it had a for sale sign on it and was soon sold after that. Now I wish I had simply waited to ask, because I could now get the bank to loan me that amount for anything.[:@][:@][

OMFG!!! Someone please tell me that the 71 Hemi roadrunner isn't still just sitting there with the hood up rusting away!!! Someone has to be lovingly restoring her in a climate controlled garage as we speak! Right??? [sm=smiley19.gif]
