What make and number spark plug are you guys haveing good luck with in a 66 426 Hemi crossram? Thanks

 

i only have time on the old hemis. but my guess is the crossram should be best for all out racing. go to single carb manifold for street. it will be easier to tune. DO NOT use arlen vanke manifold mod on a street hemi. its fine for race only. run a cooled plug for a 426 hemi. the factory manual for a 1967 hemi calls out a N10Y Champion .035. how ever i would not run that brand a i would use one or two heat ranges coolder. NGK is a good brand.

 

a stock 1966 426 hemi does not have a cross ram. cause it is a street hemi., with two inline carter AFBs. the cross ram is a race hemi. all being stock.
