MY nephew just bought a 80 aspen in very good shape. It died and wont start we narrowed it down to one of the elecrical boxes that bolt to the firewall and neither of the local parts dealers have a clue what it is called?
The part has one bolt holding it to the firewall and a 3 pin connector everywhere i have found a wiring picture it is not named?
Can someone please help?

Three pin connector should be your voltage regulator.
