Vin Numbers

I have a 68 Charger, the dash was replaced with a 1970 Charger dash. So now the vin makes the car look like a 1970 and its a 68! What now?

Find the vin stamped somewhere else on the car. Door sticker, etc. or contact the DMV and trace the title.

Who swapped the dash and didn't think to change the vin tag?

Any chance of getting the old dash back? There is a place you can get the fender tags made but not sure about the vin on the dash.
