Hello mopar lovers!!!
My name is Alex Mihai i'm 20 years old and i'm from Romania (...go on...jokes anybody :P) also please excuse any typing mistakes!!
The reason i opened this topic is my DACIA 1310 special edition.
Well first of all this is an ALL STOCK CAR FROM 1986(except for the drivers seat witch is from a 1996 DACIA and right rear view mirror) .
What makes this car so special is the fact that this series('85-'86) were the only ones made exclusively for Germany(witch means that none of these cars were meant for the romanian public). Only 150-200 of these cars ever shipped and almost none ever survived...there were clones made after it with wierd codenames like "L","TX","TXL"....I don't know all of the codnames beacouse there are a lot of them...none of them worth anything...Not sure on the TX beacouse there is some controversy sorounding it...tell you more in another post when i will specify some of the specs...
My father got it from a german dude back in '89. Now it has over 250.000 miles on its stock engine!!!!!!!! This is no joke!!!! The car is completly rust free except for the front and rear bumpers witch need minor work... These kind of bumpers are black poudered(50% of the cars that were ever made had chrome bumpers..but they didn't look so good). I also have a friend who has a 1976 DACIA ...also rust free ..all original... chrome and bodywork intact and some rare carburretor...I'll need so get some more details on that

I'll post some pictures of the cars by tomorrow if anybody wants to see them(the '86 and the '76)
I allso own an Audi A4 1.9TDI...great car..it consumes 4l/100km(65miles) and it's a disel.
I dream of owning/reconditioning a mopar (if you don't spend time,sweat, mony and half of your natural life on it...well...then you're no enthusiast
) but unfortunatly importing a car from the US costs about 10.000$ regardless of it's condition

By the way if anybody can tell me where i can find any useful books on mopars please let me know!!!
Also looking foward for any tips onn buyng mopars(please expalin to me what's the deal with the body types...)
