Where can I get a reproduction vin tag made? I looked at goviers website and couldn't find any info on the tags, only broadcast sheets.

Also looking for throttle return spring bracket for 69 440 with short lip over the head.

 

go buy some steel imprint letters and get a steel sheet and a riviter, you probly cant get one made due to the big issues with "#'s matching" so good luck making one.

 

Are you needing the VIN plate that's on the dash or the fender tag that's on the inner fender? Either way your SOL as neither can legally be reproduced (I know the VIN cannot for a fact, but not 100% sure on the fender tag) as far as I know. If you need the fender tag you will most likelyneed to do it yourself or simply do without.

 

Sorry, I should've postedfender tag, it got lost somehow during the painting of the engine bay. Where would I find steel imprinting numbers? Another question, how many places on the vehicle is the vin stamped? I know about the engine block, radiator support, and left rear trunk lip. Is the frame stamped also? Thanks

I thought he had the fender tag reproduction, but I didn't check his site for it. That's why I said I didn't know for certain about the fender tag, but I do know you cannot do the VIN plate. We've been busy trying to deal with the **** spammer, the main reason I didn't get to checking his website for the fender tags.

 

ps. Dash VIN Tags are illegal to reproduce.
