Getting ready to do a frame of restoration of my 73 Charger SE any one know of any good shops in or near Richmond Virginia? Also, any one familiar with the 400 cid ? I have heard that there isn't much room to grow with the motor as the cylinder walls are issues. My engine has 119k I'd like to get it rebuilt and some ponies added.

thanks

RE: Restoration question or two
The 400 is easily buildable, the most common kit is the 451. If I remember correctly there are also 474 and 500+ CID kits for the 400. My '71 RR had a '73 400 high performance engine in it when I bought it and it is now out of it with spun bearings, the #'s matching 383 is on a pallet and it currently has a mildly built 440 in it. The late 70's 440's had thin cylinder walls limiting their buildability.
