Grounding Question?
Well both, I ask because a freind moved his battery to his truck and he didn't have a good ground from his battery to the frame. Which I believe but I'm not sure so I'm asking was causing his battery not to charge. Is this correct?
And two he say's that after we cleaned up his frame to attach the ground strap he noticed an improvement in the way the car ran. I thought this could be true since maybe the distributer was not getting a full 12v because the battery was being drained since the grounds were not allowing the battery to recharge. Is this correct also?
Thanks
Jason

Not only can a bad ground cause this problem, but so can too small of a wire. Relocating a battery to the trunk requires battery cables/wires that are larger that your normal battery cables.
