Default RPM Level

I was driving today and my rpm levels got really annoying. When my AC is off it is ok, but when I turned it on the level of the rpm raised when I shifted sometimes. Basically, when I shift, the rpm level raised and the car jerks when I let go of the clutch.
I think it is a crappy flywheel; what do you all think it is?

What mods you got first? But I would tend to think its just a little jerky because the A/C draws so much power. Mine is sluggish with the A/C on, sometimes jerky if I don't have the rpms up enough.

yeah, it sounds like its just the ac drawing power from the motor.

Are you MTX or ATX, that could play a fairly large part in it as well/

I have a manual trans. My car was doing that before I got my mods. I drove a Civic SI and it didn't have that slow rpm issue. The clutch also felt easier. When I drove the Civic, the Ac was on, and as soon as I hit the clutch, the rpm dropped right away. I thought my car just has a crappy clutch or flywheel. I just want to know what I can do to make my car perform better.[&:]

You can put a better exhaust on, cold air intake, performance pcm, new cam shaft, under drive pulley, the list goes on.

Well, I have a Pacesetter exhaust and header, AFX underdrive pulley, AEM CAI, and some other little mods on my car. I am about to put some 19 lb Accel fuel injectors on too. I don't think it has to do anything with the gas or else it wouldn't raise in rpm level when I shift; thats just what I think. Seems like the transmission because the only thing I did to the trans was put booger bushings on. My car was doing it before the mods were on and after the mods are on.

I would just shift a little higher. That should do it. I usually don't shift until 4-4500 unless I am done accelerating.
