I do not have an owners manual for my 03 SXT

can someone please tell me the Oil capacity (4 or 5 quarts?) and what is teh cooling system capacity? (how much antifreeze do I need mixed with the water?)

 

As far as I know the 2.0L takes 4.5 quarts. That's what mine takes, but it's a 1st generation. I would doubt that it changed. As for the cooling system, go with a standard half-and-half mix of AF and water. When I flush my cooling system I just fill the system and the overflow tank until they're full, run the car for a few minutes, check the level, top it off, repeat as needed. If you pour slowly you will save yourself a couple of air bleeding cycles. It's also a good idea to double-check the coolant level the morning after you flush it when the engine has cooled off.

 

The cooling system takes about 2 gallons of water/coolant, the oil system takes about 4.5 qts. to 5 qts. and an ATX will take about 8 gts. total (includes torque converter. And MTX will take about 2-3 qts.

and I had grabbed 5 quarts of oil just in case =)
