Default Blowing Fuel Pump Fuse

I have a 97 SOHC Neon, and the fuel pump fuse keeps blowing. I was told it was probably the fuel pump, so I changed that, and the car ran fine for about 2 weeks. Now the fuel pump fuse just blew again. Anyone have a idea about what could be causing this or have a similar experience? Thanks

Sounds almost like a pinched wire somewhere int eh fuel pump circuit. I'd trace the wire and look for breaks or shorts in it.

I had an issue with mine blowing the fuel pump fuse a few days after I installed a kill-switch but somehow the wires came out from under the carpet and got pinched by the door.

There was another person on here that had the same problem, If I remember correctly it was a pinched wire. Search the forum for fuel pump you should pull it up.

Ok...the only thing I really found was two wires going to a fuel injector were exposed. It did not look like they were touching each other or grounding off anything, but I believe they could be arcing off each other possibly, so hopefully thats what it was. Thanks guys.
