2003 neon sxt cutting out
Well, after a month of waiting I finally got an error code to show up. I decided to take to dodge to have them put it on the computer to see what it was. What a waste of 2 hours of my life when the mechanic finally came out to look at the car he wanted to take it for a test drive, but I told him it was a waist of time. The code was there, so find out what it is. He takes it back tests it than brings the paper work back to the desk. When I went to find out why it was taking so long the lady behind the counter had the paperwork for some time and had just forgot to call me to the service desk. To make a long story short they wanted to charge me 200 dollars to change the plugs and wires, inspect and cap and rotor and do a fuel system clean. Turns out the problem was, it wasn’t firing on #3 because the wire was defective. Does any one know what type of wires I should use I don’t want to buy something and than regret it later like I did with the plugs. Opinions are grate but facts are better thanks.
My personal opinion, use the OE, or MP make a performance wire set for the Neon!
They are really sweet!!!
Whatever you do, DO NOT put Champion plugs back in the car (that is what they come with.)
As was mentioned above, use Ngk,Acdelco, something plain, but is a better product than the Champions!!

Squee,
You don't like Delco? I know there made by GM, but there actually a really good product.
I put Delco platnums in my wife's 01 at 30k (as per the owners manual)
and i'm really happy with their performance!
Just my 0.2$
